Run a Basic Calculation

Questions:

• How can one start a run?
• How can one monitor the progress of the run?
• How can one stop a run?
• What are some common problems that one might run into?
• Did you notice that all these questions have the word run in them?

Things to know beforehand:

• How to use the X-windows environment
• How to use the XMGR plotting program (make sure it's installed, first)

Now that we have our input files set up, we are ready to start the run. If all of your input files are right, and your environment is set up correctly, we should have no problems, right? Heh, heh, heh . . .
