The Abu-Omar group's focus is on inorganic and bio-inorganic catalysis. Our study of catalysis requires a multi-disciplinary approach, involving inorganic and organic synthesis, molecular biology, mechanism deduction using various types of spectroscopy for kinetic studies, and innovative solutions to environmental issues and industrial application.
