Laboratory Support
The laboratory support for the general chemistry course is located in 1072 Young Hall. Students check out special laboratory equipment (like separatory funnel, distillation set up, reflux apparatus etc.) directly from here. Laboratory Support Staff prepare and organize the chemicals and materials that are required for all chemistry laboratory courses in the Department. This facility serves more than 600 students in the department per quarter. Many of the staff are students who have completed and excelled in their lower division laboratory courses. Job applications may be directly submitted to the Director of the facility.
