Generally, you can only make up your lab work if there was an acceptable excuse for not attending your lab when you were supposed to. The make-up will only be offered during the following week and not later again. It is your responsibility to inform the instructor about this asap. However, you will not be allowed to take the quiz in any other section but your own regular section. This also means that you will not be allowed to take the quiz in the other section that your TA teaches. You can drop one quiz score, independent if you took the quiz or not.
In order to get permission to attend the lab in a different section, you need to get a permission from the instructor. Get a note from the TA when you are done with the lab. Attach this note to the postlab write-up. This way you have proof that you carried out the experiment in a different section. Without this note, the TA will not grade your post-lab write-up and it will be assumed that you did not carry out the experiment. Make sure that you don't lose it!
