Since there seem to be some problems in terms of enrollment in Chem 174, here are a few announcements in regard of this course.

1. The prerequisite Chem 172 will be waived this quarter. However, you should have completed Chem 171 successfully. The rest of the material needed in Chem 174 will be covered in the lab lecture.

2. Since there is a time conflict with Chem 181, we plan to increase the lab time to five hours in order to allow students to attend the lecture on Wednesday and Friday afternoon.

If you intend to take Chem 174/274, please see Denise as soon as possible. If the number of students in the course does not reach at least 6 students, the course will be canceled.
