Survey of Students on the Instructional
Enhancement Initiative
What is the student
response to the instructional technology supported by the Instructional
Enhancement Initiative (IEI)? How are students using it and does
it affect their studies? Surveys of students in classes with
a significant amount of course material on the Web have been
conducted.
Survey of Faculty
What is the impact
of new instructional technologies on teaching, courses, interactions
with students and student learning? Surveys of faculty using
the Web in their courses have been conducted.
Faculty Technology Initiative
What support do faculty
need in order to learn, develop and incorporate new instructional
technologies into their courses? A policy proposal is being drafted.
Student Technology Initiative
With support provided
by the IEI helping faculty integrate new technologies into the
curriculum, what about training and support for students? Should
there be a minimum standard of computer literacy that faculty
can expect students to possess? A policy proposal is being considered.
