Where are they now? Former
graduate student Thuc-Quyen Nguyen, Ph.D. 2001, is currently Asst.
Professor of Physical Chemitry at UC Santa Barbara. Former
graduate student Erik Barthel, Ph.D. 2003, received an MD from USC and
is now doing a surgical residence.
Former postdoc Ignacio Martini is now the Assistant Director of the
UCLA Molecular Instrumentation Center in
charge of Materials
Research. Former undergraduate student Sean Roberts is presently
a graduate student at MIT in Andrei
Tokmakoff's group. Former undergraduate student Ryan
Young is currently in graduate school at Berkeley working in Dan Neumark's
group. Former undergraduate student Darcy Wanger is currently in
graduate school at MIT in Moungi Bawendi's
group.
Former postdoctoral fellow Elizabeth (Betsy) Raymond is currently
an Asst. Prof. of Chemistry at Western Washington University.
Former graduate student Mike Bedard-Hearn is currently a postdoc at the
University of Texas in Peter
Rossky's group.
