• Franklin Fellowship
  A small grant for recent Ph.D. recipients for research expenses -- may be useful for U.S. Ph.D.s  to conduct projects abroad or for foreign Ph.D.s to conduct short-term projects in our laboratory.
  
  
• L'Oreal Women in Science Postdoctoral Fellowship
  The L’Oreal Fellowships For Women in Science represent one component of the For Women in Science (FWIS) program run under the auspices of the United Nations Educational Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) These fellowships cover costs for one year of postdoctoral research, up to $60,000. Applicants must be US citizens or permanent residents and must have completed their PhD prior to applying.
  

• Women's International Sciences Collaboration (WISC) Program
  Partnership between the American Association for the Advancement of Science and the National Science Foundation to increase the participation of women in international scientific research. The WISC awards small travel grants ($4,000-$5,000) to U.S. scientists. Men and women scientists who have their Ph.D.s or equivalent research experience are eligible to apply. They must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents of the U.S.

• Switzer Foundation
  The Robert & Patricia Switzer Foundation identifies and nurtures environmental leaders who have the ability and determination to make a significant impact and supports initiatives that will have direct and measurable results to improve environmental quality. The Foundation accomplishes this by awarding academic fellowships and project grants, sponsoring professional development activities, and fostering a growing network of Switzer Fellows, environmental practitioners, and organizations.
